Urban Challenges

A projected 60% of the world’s population will live in cities by 2030, and the challenges of air and water pollution, solid waste management and water conservation grow more critical every day. With policymaking, civil engineering, behavior change and other approaches, AED works with cities to promote recycling, water re-use, conservation and other efforts to make urban living healthier for people and safer for the environment.
