National Technical Assistance System for Immunization Coalitions

Location: North AmericaUnited States
Funder: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Duration: This project is no longer active.

The purpose of this project is to provide support to state and local immunization coalitions in the U.S. The expected ultimate outcome of such support is to reduce the number of indigenous cases of vaccine-preventable diseases and to ensure that at-risk or priority populations are appropriately vaccinated.

This project has two overarching goals:

1. Establish a technical assistance system to help immunization coalition members access knowledge and tools to help them accomplish their stated goals and network with counterparts nationwide to share ideas and to respond collaboratively to emerging issues.

2. Extend the reach and impact of this system through strategic partnerships with diverse national organizations
