As the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities, AED collects, organizes, and disseminates current information about childhood disability and the education of children with disabilities, as well as information about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the No Child Left Behind Act.

The Center to date has begun developing systems for collecting, organizing and listing research materials in a database.  As the Center continues to respond to requests from the public, users will begin to fill out a more specific profile that will aid the center in its efforts to provide the public with information. This will include an updated website.
