The Guatemala Conflict Prevention and Resolution Activity project aims to promote the use of mediation as a method of alternative dispute resolution in Guatemala and promote peaceful solutions to the land conflicts that plague the region of Alta Verapaz. Ultimately, the project’s goal is leave behind stronger organizations that are better able to mediate and resolve conflict in the country.  AED is working with the Institute for Conflict Transformation and the Construction of Peace (INTRAPAZ), CDR Associates, Mercy Corps, JADE and Partners for Democratic Change.
