Academy for Educational Development

AED provides the US Agency for International Development with information and research to assist in education planning, policy development, and programming in Asia and the Near East. The project’s notable accomplishments to date include producing a number of education sector overviews, handbooks, and policy documents that describe the education conditions in countries such as Yemen, Indonesia, and Afghanistan—all countries in which education and educational disparities are gaining more and more attention.
