This program strengthens the institutional capacity of water user associations, which play a critical role in the restructuring of agriculture in the region from centralized control of natural resources to local management. WUASP operates in three countries: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. AED’s activities are coordinated from program headquarters in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
