Working with the Bangladesh Women's Health Coalition, AED is developing interventions at both national and local levels that will change the practices of governments, NGOs, and funding agencies so that they can more effectively discourage early marriage and childbearing. Interventions are developed through the program’s ongoing exploration of the factors that influence South Asian families' decisions about the timing of marriage and initiation of childbearing.
