OneSTEP (Service for Training, Educational Exchanges, and Professional Programs) has project capabilities dedicated to promoting professional training and intercultural education. Since 1993 OneSTEP has provided high-quality and cost-effective in-country, third country and US-based technical, program and logistical support on a fee-for-service basis to USAID-funded contractors, US and foreign government agencies and private organizations that work in Africa, Asia, Central America, Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East. The training programs are designed to help junior to senior-level professionals return to their home country to utilize newly obtained knowledge and skills or follow-up on newly made professional and business relationships. OneSTEP services include, but are not limited to, training program design and implementation, conference and event planning, logistical support, medical clearance and health insurance coverage enrollment, and DS2019 visa form preparation. The fee-for-service program can be tailored or packaged to meet a client's specific training objectives. To date, OneSTEP has provided assistance to over 160 clients for more than 241,700 professionals participating in over 4,000 conferences/workshops, orientation visits, or training programs from more than 24 countries. OneSTEP has assisted more than 160 clients including the Academy for Educational Development (AED), American Bar Association/Central and East European Law Initiative (ABA/CEELI), American International Health Alliance (AIHA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Russian American Rule of Law Consortium (RARLC), US Agency for International Development (USAID), US Embassy in Turkmenistan, United States Energy Association (USEA), US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and United States Telecommunications Training Institute (USTTI).
