Academy for Educational Development

The Center for Gender Equity's approach for supporting girls education utilizes a model called the Four Pillars. The project will conduct teacher training, mentor training and girls mentoring, provide scholarships to girls and other vulnerable children, and promote strong community participation. AED will be working for three years in the Kisumu region of Kenya and hopes to reach thousands of children over the course of the project.
