Academy for Educational Development

AED is a member of the EQUIP1 partnership. Led by the American Institute for Research, EQUIP1 focuses on improving educational quality through classroom, school, and community-level projects. AED has been awarded subcontracts through EQUIP1 for projects in Djibouti, El Salvador, and Yemen. As members of the EQUIP1 partnership, AED staff are also actively involved in research, including a longitudinal study of teaching and learning, and school-based, teacher in-service programs and clustering of schools.
